Northern Arizona University

Founded in 1899, Northern Arizona University has established a powerful legacy of educating students to help them make a difference in the world. This legacy includes a long history, and national reputation, for providing flexible and innovative programming to meet the educational and career goals of traditional and returning adult learners. NAU has been a leader in providing a high quality public university experience to students statewide at a great value. Classes are flexible, delivered through new and emerging technologies, and designed to help students manage their busy lifestyles.

NAU currently offers more than 70 undergraduate and graduate degree, certificate, and endorsement programs through online, hybrid, and in-person delivery formats. Degree programs accepting up to 90 transfer credits continue to grow along with the number of students embracing an alternative to the traditional residential university experience. About 35 percent of NAU students earn their degrees online or in local communities in Arizona. Programs are available across disciplines including Business and Administration, Education, Emergency Services Administration, Humanities, Health Sciences, Technology Management, and more.
